Pulling up an old slab, driveway or footpath? Clean concrete loads earn our lowest heavy waste rate, and they’re never weighed.

A bin of nothing but concrete costs less to process, so you pay less. Mesh and reo can stay in.
Concrete is the heaviest waste there is. Our 2–8m³ bins carry no weight charge.
Pair a 1.7t Bobcat and hammer attachment to break the slab, then lift the pieces straight into the skip.

The cheaper concrete rate applies when the load is purely concrete. Once bricks, tiles or soil get mixed in, the bin is charged as normal heavy waste. It’s still not weighed; it just misses out on the concrete price.
Because concrete is so dense, smaller bins do the job. A two or three cube bin takes most single-car driveways, while a four cube suits bigger slabs. Keep the load inside the bin and level with the rim.
Yes. Steel mesh and reo bar don’t affect the concrete-only rate.
That’s fine. Then it’s billed as ordinary heavy waste. Still never weighed.
A typical single-car driveway fills a 2 or 3 cube bin. Send us the measurements and we’ll double-check.
