Two sizes of Bobcat excavator for Banyule and Nillumbik backyards, from narrow side paths to sloping bush blocks.

The 1.0 tonne E10 narrows its tracks to fit through a standard side gate, which is handy on older Ivanhoe and Heidelberg homes with tight access. Use it for drainage trenches, small dig-outs and anywhere space is limited.
The 1.7 tonne E17z is the stronger, steadier option for footings, retaining wall cuts and clearing old garden beds. On sloping Eltham or Montmorency blocks, the extra weight gives you more confidence.
Not every attachment fits both machines. Describe the work and we’ll match the gear to it.
Order a heavy waste skip with the excavator and swing the bucket straight into the bin. Clay and rock are never weighed in our 2–8m³ bins.

| Machine | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Bobcat E10 – 1.0 tonne excavator | from $220 / day | Side-access digs, trenches, small yards |
| Bobcat E17z – 1.7 tonne excavator | from $240 / day | Footings, pool fill-ins, bigger excavation |
| Tracked high-tip dumper | from $220 / day | Moving heavy material and tipping into skips |
These are starting prices; the final figure depends on how long you need it and where it’s going. Attachments start at $40. Book it with your skip and it comes on the same truck.
